The Music City Missile Club (MC2) has been operating in the Nashville area for over two decades.

MC2 is a volunteer organization of professional, technical, educational and lay persons engaged in the pursuit and advancement, of sport and amateur rocketry. The club is affiliated with the two primary sport and amateur rocketry associations: the National Association of Rocketry (NAR Section #589) and the Tripoli Rocketry Association (Tripoli Prefecture #134). Dual affiliation means that we can certify flyers for high power through both organizations. Accordingly, we operate and maintain our rocket range in accordance with NAR and TRA standards and safety codes, in addition to applicable local, state and Federal laws and regulations.

In addition to youth groups like the Scouts and the Civil Air Patrol Cadets, we host many regional colleges and universities that fly their projects for NASA Student Launch, Spaceport America Cup, Argonia Cup, and others. Teams using our site include Vanderbilt University, the University of Alabama Huntsville, University of Tennessee Knoxville, and University of Tennessee Chattanooga, to name just a few. MC2 members also mentor college, primary, and secondary school teams.

Everyone interested in sport rocketry is welcome to attend our launches. No experience necessary! Spectators are always welcome too. Our primary mission is to have fun and provide a safe environment for rocketry activities.
