Outreach plays a vital role in MC2’s function, both in bringing value and benefit to the community and member recruitment. STEM activities are a large of that outreach. Everything from youth Build-n-flies, to hosting university team’s, to members volunteering their time as mentors and advisors.

In addition to youth groups like the Scouts and the Civil Air Patrol Cadets, we host many regional colleges and universities. Teams using our site include Vanderbilt University, the University of Alabama Huntsville, University of Tennessee Knoxville, and University of Tennessee Chattanooga, to name just a few. Three national and international programs are supported annually: The America Rocketry Challenge (TARC), NASA Student Launch, and Spaceport America Cup.
